Early ID Screener

With early identification and effective intervention, students with learning and attention challenges can receive the support they need to become successful learners.


The Early ID Screener (Early Identification & Detection Screener) is a non-language based tool that can help identify young children at risk for learning and attention challenges that are related to phonological processing deficits. Early ID asks students to independently complete five tasks that will take a total of about 15 minutes. This tool scores a student automatically and provides instructional recommendations and information on further testing.

The Early ID Screener should be administered by a parent, guardian, or teacher.
